Freight Terms
Orders can be shipped collect with your preferred carrier, all we need is an account number. Unless otherwise stated, all orders will be shipped prepaid and charged FOB our warehouse in Cambridge, Ontario. If an order needs to be rerouted after it has shipped, additional fees may be charged. If an order is shipped on a customer’s courier account, it is the customers responsibility to submit claims for any lost or damaged goods.
Any rods or other goods which are over 3ft in length will not be shipped prepaid. A courier account number must be provided in order to ship anything over 3ft.
Orders which are subject to negotiated prepaid freight amounts must reach the set prepaid amount prior to tax on one order. Multiple orders will not be held and accumulated to reach prepaid amounts. Backorders are not prepaid and will be shipped with another order within two weeks. If there are no orders shipping to the same address within two weeks of receival, the backorder will ship alone.
Return Policy
Return requests must be made within 30 days from the invoice date and will be subject to a minimum restocking fee of $25. Once an RA number is issued, the purchaser has 30 days to return the goods to Knapp Fasteners Inc, which must be in the original packaging. All non-account orders, tools, kits, and custom manufactured products are final sale, non-cancellable and non-returnable. Any quality issues must be addressed within 30 days from the invoice date.
Payment Terms
If you have been approved for credit, our terms are 2% discount for invoices paid within 10 days, net 30 payment terms. We also accept Visa, Mastercard, Debit, Cheque, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), American Express, and many others. For all customers not on account, we require payment at time of order.
Order Minimums & Standards
Our order minimum is $20 CAD for non-account Canadian customers. If you’re on account, there is no purchase order minimum for Canadian orders. All USA or international orders have a $30 USD minimum if on account and a $50 USD minimum for non-account customers. USA and international orders require a broker, tax ID, and courier account number to process.
All shipments are subject to +/-10% of quantity per industry standards.
