Hex serrated flange screws are a popular fastening solution across many industries. They’re easy to install, strong, and prevent loosening. Serrated flange screws are a great product to keep on hand for quick use. The flange functions as a built in washer. On the underside of the head there are serrations (the small ridges) which grip the surface to prevent loosening over time. Most serrated flange screws are made from alloy steel or stainless steel. The standard zinc plating on alloy steel adds corrosion resistance. Below is a chart of the most popular sizes we keep in stock which are grade 5 zinc plated.
